Ok, first off let me start out by saying in no way am I bashing on someone's beliefs or openly trying to start any sort of cyber war between the good people of Mylot. I am just curious as to why some feel the way they do about the subject that will be mentioned. I am open to all opinions that will expressed. Ok with that out of the way. Over a certain time frame, beginning with war to hurricane Katrina to the recent tsunami in the Solomon Islands many of have come out and expressed that these are signs that the world is nearing it's end. These sort of things have been occuring for thousands even possibly millions of years. Please help me understand why so many feel that these are the signs that the world is ending. Also why do so many fear it? Since I have come to understand that when the end does come a better life awaits us.

Im not speaking for anyone in particular but perhaps they are meerly trying to stir trouble, Also with news of global warming on the lips of the media, perhaps all this news is leading people to the belief that the world is actually ending. I personally am not worried about the end of the world, as even if it is near there is nothing i can do so whats the point in worrying

I to, am one of the ones that isn't worried about the world ending. If it happens, it happens, if it don't it don't. I prefer living my life to the fullest and worrying about the world ending would take up to much of my time, I could be using for something productive. To me all this talk of the end of the world, is just spreading a bunch of unnecessary fear, and a form of scare tactic that I don't fall for.

From a religious point of view I think it's a load of garbage when they say that the world is coming to an end, and that these disasters are signs of that. They're just trying to justify what the bible says. There, now that's out of the way. Didn't mean to offend anyone. From an ecological point of view, sure, if human beings carry on polluting the earth with greenhouse gases then our planet will have a limited lifespan. It won't suddenly end and fall in on itself, but life will be harder to sustain. We can see this happening right now with droughts in parts of the world, flooding in others, tsunamis happening - the weather patterns have altered dramatically and unless we take action things can only get worse. It's nothing to do with religion, it's simply cause and effect imo.

There is no sign of end of world. Listen, ALL MYTHS. Global Warming is needed. to heat earth. TOO MUCH Global Warming causes more evaporation. Causing more storms, hurricanes. Guess what? All Natural Disasters happen with or without life. look on venus. natural disasters. Its nature or Natural laws. Nature works with or without life. ONce global warming gets too much. The Earth can heal itself through an Ice Age. And returning back to normal. Hows that? its not like its a Big Bang happening right now. or galaxy collision yet. The sun has half its life span? our sun has a life span of 10 billion years. Its been 5 billion years. So end of Earth not yet.
