What Are You Looking Forward To?

To get through life we all need something to really look forward to like a holiday, or time out, we need something to get up for each morning, especially when life deals us with some cruel cards. I have my 'retreat' to look forward to its down by the sea and as soon as I get there I am completely different, you wouldn't recognize me, I even said to my friends I have made there if they saw me outside the retreat they wouldn't know me. I take on a completely different persona Roll on April 20th! It can't come soon enough PLUS.... I've already booked my third visit of the year to the retreat. 10 beautiful, peaceful, glorious days in August! It was the makings of me and two of my best friends I found at the retreat!

I desperately need a holiday .. but can't afford one .. I'd love to go to a retreat but the only ones I've come across this last few years have been too religious (you had to join in with the daily worshipping) .. or are simply way out of my price bracket ..

My retreat is DEFINITELY not a religious one, you know me I haven't got a religious bone in my body. I know the owner well so I get a good discount!

Last year we didn't get a holiday as we had to move house, marry, birth a child etc. etc.! I did have a month off after the birth though, which helped me realise just how much I dislike spending my life in an office. It may sound sad to many people, but I like to go fishing when i get the opportunity. I only tried it a couple of years ago, but I've been a convert ever since. It doesn't even matter if I catch anything usually, I just love to sit by the side of the lake with a few snacks and drinks, enjoying the effect of several spliffs and some beautiful scenery. The weird thing abot fishing is that it completely distracts you from absolutely everything. All of my worries are just put on hold while I'm outdoors. There are numerous other pleasures to be had more often though. I love to spend time playing with my baby and to grow things in my garden. I even love taking a long drive and really talking with my wife. These little pleasures get me through the day.

I'm looking forward to be reunited with my wife & my son. Not a single day I haven't felt excited about the day. Me & my wife have a lot of problems in our relationship & we are ready to give it another chance after 3 long years. Of course we communicate for our sons sake & we're taking a few steps forward to reconciliation.

For me, it's when we get out of debt. We have a plan in place that should get us there around the end of September, which will be nice. I really want to get there.

In a weeks time my mother will be here visiting from England, so I'm looking forward to see her again. Also my husband is thinking of changing jobs, which would mean moving to yet another country, so I'm looking to forward to his decision, as it could mean that we will be moving to the Dominican Republic. Although I'm not looking forward to the packing and shipping!

I am looking forward to going to Maine for the summer. My family and I moved to Texas a few years ago and my kids and I go back to Maine every summer for 2 months and visit relatives. There is a lot of turmoil in my extended family right now and i hope that us comming up will settle some of it. It is really nice up there in the summer and we'll be going to the ocean everyday.

Honestly i'm not looking to score any brownie points with this answer of mine but what i look forward to each day as i get up, is to greet the day joyously, help those people who i come in contact with who need my assitance, i try never to intentionally hurt or abuse anyone. I look forward to living each day with joy, honesty n love. I take a vacation everyday of my life and look forward to it too.

I've been working my butt of for my holiday 2 weeks in Ibiza just me and hubby no children a really welcomed break. I feel different away especially with no children i totally chill out. In the last week first the lawn mower packed up had to but a new one then my fridge freezer and that really was a disaster, i was away seeing my very ill dad i came home to the whiffy house flooded kitchen and rotten food UGH!and had to pay out again!for a new fridge freezer and food. I don't want a number 3 fingers crossed. We all need a break from the usual things work, the daily grind something to look forward to , if you had nothing to look forward to life would seem bleak.

Well, my husband has not left yet, but I am already looking forward to his return from war. I always look forward to phone calls from my daughters, walks with my dogs and my favorite television show, which is Boston Legal. I also look forward to going out dancing and doing fun things.

I've just been to the beach last weekend, but for the past weeks that was what I was looking forward to. Now, graduating college would be the next target. It might not sound so holiday-ish but it will really take a load of my back, more than a beach vacation would!
