There are a lot of songs with powerful lyrics. November Rain is a good one, also Purple Rain. Fire and Rain, Free Bird...I can think of quite a few. Some probably only have special meaning to me though.

I do care about the lyrics. A lot of times, the lyrics of a song or its title deter me from listening to it, (I'm talking about metal, of course. There's some scary sh*t out there, lol), but other times, depending on the attitude of the band, (I mean whether or not they're singing about something to sound cool, or if they're being serious, for instance, when Metallica covered several Mercyful Fate songs in one big medley, they're just playin' around), the lyrics won't bother me as much. As far as good lyrics go, I really like Metallica's "The Thing That Should Not Be," because it's about Cthulu (an H.P. Lovecraft character), and I like "Motorbreath" (also Metallica) because it's just about having fun and living fast.
