if capitol hill truly cares about people in america, why do they let the rich continue to rip off the poor.

probably because the people making the laws are well fed and in comfy homes.i don't think they really are aware of or care the true numbers of people poor or on the very edge of poverty.
my town acts like there is no poor,but everyone i know is hurting-even people with 2 and 3 jobs.
our middle class has disappeared.
