What are the cool family places to visit this summer?

Summer is knocking at the door. We are planning to go some place new and better this time. Last summer, we went to the beach. We did not enjoy a nice summer vacation for a long long time. Is there any place in the United States in the East coast where we can have a good time? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

i have never been here but i here myrtle beach is nice, and cape cod. both sound like nice vacation spots to me. this is a good discussion. I'll have to follow up with this one and maybe i could use an idea or two from here. so thanks for starting a wonderful discussion topic!!
