I don't think they should unless the father had given prior consent. The donated sperm is a gift of a child to another individual. If they don't give or deny consent, I think they should respect the father's privacy. If the father consented to it I think it would be great to see how much they look alike. Similar foods and interests. Kind of like twins separated at birth. It could be a great friendship were the father can miss out if he does not wish to see the child.

Nope, because when those fathers donated their sperm they gave up all the rights to them. I think that it is a great thing for the people in need.

Yes they should to me it seems like another form of adoption just you never knew who got your seed and it is not like you did nto know what it was going to be used for!!! Yes you got paid for it but there is a ceritan resonsibility you have for it. Its liek gettign a a girl pregnant by accident and then not knowing about it and her not knowing who the farther is for what ever reason. She then has the choice of putting the baby up for adoption with no input from you. The only real difference is you were paid for it and you should not be expected to pay for the child. It is similar also to beign a surrogate mother you agree to carry anothers child then give it up same sort of idea. Using soemthing your body can do for money.

I think that you can't stop them if they really want to try. If the "father" is donating and strictly wants to never be found - then his rights should be protected. While I would understand the reasons for the adult children to want to find the speerm donor - they have to realize that the fathers may want nothing to do with them and they may not get the repsonses they are seeking. They have to be perpared for that. Then again, they may be surprised.
