I feel after a long day at the office, watching comedy orientated films can relieve the stress. It also makes you feel good. What is your input on this?

I think laughter does reduce stress. So many things can induce laughter including comedy but whatever it is, what is important is having a good laughter!

Yes, I totally agree with you. I believe that laughter can be one the best prevention of disease along with the apple. No wonder there are so many laughter clubs in India where they laugh out loud in the morning. It can be a great stress buster too as you mentioned. I usually watch some stand up comedy to cheer myself up and to relieve stress.

Yes, laughter helps in lessening stress and comedy movies are a good way to enjoy few giggles and relieve stress. I have felt this as well. But there are times when I am so stressed that even a dose of laughter does no magic. At such instances, even the most comic movies look like very boring to me!

Yes i agree with you, when we are stressed its really healthy to have a good laugh with some beautiful people or like you do watching some comedy serials. It frees our mind from those hard works that we have gone through. Anyway good luck to you and keep it up

Yes, laughter does relieve tension. I usually watch comedy movies and serials. I laugh aloud simply when nobody's around. It makes me feel good.

yes i do believe that laughter relieves stress and it makes us feel good. But sometimes, just sometimes, even while watching comedy shows, it's hard to smile let alone laugh if you're plagued with problems all around. I'm not being pessimistic but sometimes, just sometimes, I feel that way. and I try to find another way to relieve my stress.

I think that laughter does indeed reduce stress. Feeling happy instantly makes me feel better about the problem areas of my life, and laughing makes me fel happy. I'm not sure that watching comedy films is the best way to relieve stress as they sometimes have sad sentiments in them as well. I would think having fun with your friends would be a better way.

Laughter does relieve stress, it even gives our face a good exercise (for the muscle called "masseter"). It could also help us give a better view in our daily lives, like being optimistic. It also makes people look younger and prettier. Smile!

Yeah i have found this also. Research has found that laughing every day may even prevent a heart attack http://www.umm.edu/features/laughter.htm Laughter has been found to increase blood flow, increase immune system by increasing the level of infection fighting anti bodies and help control your blood sugar levels. Who'd of thought such a simple little thing can be so good for us!

Laughing do really relive stress. If you are a person who laugh a lot, you will know it yourselves. Many television shows also promoted that laughing is very good. Many says that laughter prolongs life. By laughing, it is releasing your emotions, so you won't bottle your troubles, but instead releasing them out, that is why many of us felt better, including me.
