Do You Gamble?

It’s gradually become a traditional practice lol, for people in my place to play cards when celebrating Chinese New Year. This is a game for our family gathering and the money for each bet is very small. We enjoy the merry and joyous atmosphere very much.

I do not gamble at the casinos because I fear to see the hole in my pocket. Neither do I gamble at horse races or any machines. At times, I play the lottery just to test my luck. In life, I do gamble with my career and relationships, but it was mostly calculated risks.

I play the lottery regularly although I never have much luck, I never bet on the horses because I don't like seeing horses hurt when they fall. I do like to play the slots but I always set myself a limit and never cross it, I see it as entertainment. I don't smoke or drink so I do like to have some pleasure and it doesn't damage my health either, it is fun, I expect to lose and I enjoy the time I play.

I personally prefer to not gamble. I have a chance of winning but then again I have a greater chance of loosing. We don't have much money so I try to save every dime!

Well, visited some casinos but I'm never into gambling. I just try out the slot machines and whatever games I can play and just lose a certain amount of money that I can tolerate just for the fun of it, never as a means of livelihood. For leisure, I play a lot of table card games with friends like poker and black jack.

I like to do scratch off tickets from time to time and have been to the casino a time or two, but overall, I am not a big gambler. My daughter and her husband enjoy the casinos adn go much more often. Sometimes they do well and sometimes they don't but they set a limit and then go home !

I go to the casinos once and awhile but I only take what I can afford to lose so I don't get upset with myself. I also play poker with friends and gamble there but not all the time I am not addicted to it at all It is just entertainment for me and if I win Great! Added bonus for me

When I'm in Canada, I buy a scratch ticket, now and then, but that's about all. I am not interested in taking chances with my money. Right now I am trying to save all that I can. I'd rather spend money on something I know I am going to enjoy, than risk it on something that might not pay off.

We are Mormon and we do not believe in gambleing in any way not even the lottery. I used to buy lottery tickets every payday before I joined this church and now we dont do it.

I like to play the lottery sometimes. I mainly like to do the scratch off tickets. I have played the lotto a few times but it is very hard to match the numbers up myself. I feel as if I can buy a ticket and have better odds of winning something. I like to play bingo but I never win. I play in pogo.com sometimes because it is fun and free and you get a chance to win $50.00 if they draw your ticket. I have played on a gmabling boat a time or two but never really won anything to brag about. I mainly lose when I gamble so I don't waist much money on it.

I gamble sometimes when I have a little extra money. I'm not a big gambler though. I usually buy some scratch off lottery tickets, I never won big on them. And sometimes I go play at the casino. But I usually play the nickel and quarter machines.

I'm not into gambling. I hate lotteries as well as horse races and ballgames. I do play some card games with friends but we never bet on that. Even though we bet it would be a meagre amount to just create that Competetive environment and not to earn some thing.

Sure...sometimes. We regularly hold mahjong sessions in the family. Say once a week. This is very addicitive but can get quite tiring because you just sit there and play for hours. The money goes around the family so it is ok. It helps to build and enhance our relationship. Me, my mum, granny and auntie likes to play the jackpot. Though we don't usually win a lot of money but its good fun. I am not into cards because my maths is poor and I take too long to decide.
