I don't know who came up with this, but I found it very amusing. It was printed on our local real estate brochur. " Be it over 40 ( in America) or 50 anywhere else, the following may mean something to you! Kidnappers are not very interested in you. In a hostage situation, you are likely to be released first. No-one expects you to run into a burning building. People call at 9.00 am and ask, "Did I wake you?" People no longer view you as a hyperchondriac. There is nothing left to learn the hard way. Things you buy won't wear out. You eat dinner at 5.00pm. You enjoy hearing about other people's operations. You get into heated arguments about Superannuation. You have a p[arty & the neighbours don't even realise it. You know longer think of speed limits as a challenge. Your quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room. You sing along with music in lifts. Your eyesight won't get much worse. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the forecast. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either. You can't remember who sent you this list!"
