Friends lying and can u do something abt it?

If I had been in your place I would have talked to him on the matter and demanded a clarification.As I am a tpe of person who cannot tolerate anything wrong done to me or even to someone else.If the matter is serious and the clarification is not satisfactory I think in that case I would have started taken lesser interest in him.

One of my bestfriends lied to me when I was in highschool. I had this big crush on some guy, so what she did is she asked someone to pretend to be this guy and started calling me on the phone. Every after conversation I would call my bestfriend and tell her how the conversation went. And she was like diggin my stories too. I found out later from another friend about it. I felt so bad, and sad at the same time. But I didn't get mad at her, I showed her that it was nothing to me and it's gonna take a lot before she could get me really angry at her.

I was in this situation before (when I was in college). My cloest friend lied to me and the people around her, she talked things (which were not true) about me behind my back, and she deliberately ruined my birthday (by lying again). Oh well, do I call that a friend. No way! As soon as I found all these out, I was feeling mad and hurt. But I made a good choice, I disregard her as a friend immediately. I stop talking to her and calling her and stuff. I just cut the bondage right there right then. She called from time to time wanting to know why I did that to her and I didn't even bother to answer. I just felt I don't need a "friend" hurting me in any sense. Good luck to you.
