A few days break so what are you planning for the Easter holidays

Happy Smiley - Happy Holidays everyone

It looks like I am going to have a house full of people over the Easter break, so it won't be much of a break for me. As I sit here thinking about making up the bed in the spare room, and getting some washing done, and cleaning up the kitchen, and sorting out the rubbish to go to the tip, what do other people plan as an Easter weekend break? Given the chance and the money, what would you do? If money were no object, where would you go?Personally I would love to take off somewhere warm and relaxing, lie on a beach all day and dance all night.*sigh* wishful thinking I know but let's see what everyone else fantasises about for an Easter break.

Well I think I just have to spend this day here in MyLot. We don't really go out that much so this holiday will be a MyLot day for me. And of course, Easter is a perfect time to reflect with our lives. So I think I'm also have to look back for awhile and realize the mistakes that I've done and of course, ask forgiveness from God and thank Him at the same time for all the blessings He had given to me and to my family. - Ron Reyes www.ronreyes.co.nr

I will probably be down at Mam ans dads And maybe take them for a drive ( after being at church and taking my grandchildren a wee Easter pressie( two different houses )because of Mam and Dad both having Alzheimer's I have to be there every day. What would really like to do is have a day to myself where I can sleep as long as I want and not have to go ANYWHERE for a full day , no phones no contact with anyone , xx

Our reality is that we are all going to my mother's house. We are all going to church first. Then we are having fried chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and biscuites all courtsey of Church's Fried Chicken. Then dessert will be buttermilk pie and oatmeal pie that I am making. Very little work, almost no clean up (thanks to paperplates and plastic cups). The downside, I have to spend from 730am until almost 630pm with my extended family and I don't get anything done at all. If we had the money, I would rather go to a really nice brunch and then the kids could do the egg hunt. We would all then just go to a movie or something and relax.

Lake Louise, Banff National Park - This is Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta. The glacier high above is Victoria Glacier. The most beautiful place on Earth.
If money wasn't an object, I'd have taken off to lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta for a few days. I absolutely ADORE that place. The lake is as still as a looking glass and it has a wonderful turquoise color to it caused by the silt that washes down from the mountains. Victoria Glacier in the background sits high above and dwarfs everything around it. Even though the place is a busy tourist spot, it's so quiet. You can almost hear people holding their breath in. It's an awe inspiring sight indeed.

WOW that looks absolutely gorgeous hun, what a wonderful place. I would love to spend some time there, just enjoying the peace and tranquility, and my partner loves the mountains so he would be a very happy man too.

If I had the funds, I would absolutely love to travel to different places to visit the various art hotels there are. There are just so many incredible rooms I'd enjoy staying in. The rooms and decorations are all themed depending on the room. There are some very interesting designs that are inspiring and breathtaking. Of course if I could only visit one place, I'd probably go to Vietnam. My parents are from there and immigrated to Canada during the Vietnam War. I want to go back to where they lived and visit places they visited.

I am going to spend Saturday with my friends on KanyaKumari beach and then will join my parents on Sunday to my Uncle's and Aunty's house and will be attending an engagment and will be celebrating Easter there. It is nice to take a vaccation with friends and to spend time with the family especially during the Easter time. I am getting a good break from my work and a good relaxation time. Hope you all are also having good time during the Easter.

I like to spend the time with my grandchildren so even if I had the money I wouldn't go away for Easter. My daughter lives in another county so she is having all the family come to stay at her house for the weekend. She loves cooking and entertaining so I am looking forward to a weekend of pampering. Hope you enjoy your weekend and don't work too hard.

Hi! If I could do anything for the Easter break then it would be to go anywhere warm and sit on the beach for a few days, that would be bliss! However, this weekend depending on the weather myself and my daughter will be taking the cameras out and doing some photography (I've already been out twice this week due to the great weather!) Hope you have a great Easter with your family and friends!

Well, I can't really say since I'mnot even sure what day easter is, so I'm not sure when easter break is. I probably won't do anything at all, though there's the possibility of my sibilings coming down for a visit during a holiday like that. Not sure though I think our school system scrapped easter holidays when they adopted the mon-thurs schedule.
