I have got a huge problem, and would like someone to come up with a bright solution. My problem is my husband sometimes(and I mean sometimes) asks me to fetch him a beer, then I struggle for ages to get the darn beer out of the plastic wrapping, and when I get it out eventually, I am minus a fingernail!. Can't they make a wrapping with a zip!

You can try to cut that pesky wrapping with a knife or something like that without losing your fingernail or give it to him as it is.

I think I will do the latter, because I always forget to take a knife, and is then too lazy to fetch one:D to my own detriment I suppose

Scissors darling, always have the scissors handy. I used to work in a bar that sold only stubbies and cans and they were bound by plastic wrap in packs of 6. It's one way of strengthening muscles and as you've experienced, breaking nails.

Yeah, Yeah I know I think he should cut it open, before he puts it in the fridge, but I know it wont last. I will have to put a pair of scissors at the bar:)) But you must admit a zip doesn't sound too bad:DD

They no doubt were designed by the male gender and as a general rule they don't worry about their fingernails breaking. Men just rip that plastic off as if it's fairy floss!
