Ever walked into the WRONG bathroom and didn't realize that you had mistakenly done this until after using the facility?? I have done this a few times, both times were quite embarrashing, what about you? Ever had this happen before?

Interesting discussion. Yes, once. I have already unzipped my pants and started p**ing. I was wondering why the facility for that gents was so strange. When I realised my mistake after walking out, it was already too late. Good thing there wasn't a girl nearby to scream molest. I am such a nice gentleman that I would die from shame for being accused of something that was not really my fault. Then again, sometimes the fault lies with the toilet signs. Places are getting modern and artistic that they sometimes use a picture to represent the 2 genders. Artists can be cranky fellows and the drawing of male and female look somewhat familiar. Many times, I had to pause for a few seconds to decide which is the male and which is the female. I don't know why they can do away with the English words when the signs are already so confusing.

Yes I have. I was at the theaters and had to really go. The signs were not that clear as to which bathroom was which. All it said was restroom. Not even the hubby caught it. No one was in when I went and their were not stalls so I assumed it was for women. When I walked out there was a room full of men and I just walked right out. It was so embarrassing to this day.

I meant to say there were no urinals instead of stalls.

hihi. that's funny. maybe you still do remember it up to now and laugh about it. that's why i always ask someone if the sign is no longer visible or is no longer posted. better safe than sorry. hehe.

nope. never. hehe. that would embarrass me for a long time i guess. i always look at the female/male sign. if the sign's already torn or gone, i always try to ask someone before entering.

I have never done this. However, I think that if a man did it he would be considered a pervert. But when a woman does it then it is a funny mistake! So texasclassygal you have to tell us the whole story!

I have done this so much, I think cause I have always needed to wear glasses and I never hence making it hard to read the signs or figurines that are over the doors, most times just hidden. So one time I was visiting an aunt at a hospital, a new hospital that was just built, and the sign was covered by a ladder so I walked in the restroom thinking how funny it looked but thinking that it was a new hospital perhaps it had new features in that some restrooms don't. Needless to say I was totally embarrashed when I was washing my hands and there was a man that walked in on me, when I walked out the restroom I looked for the sign and sure enough it was the men's restroom, no wonder it looked differently than the women's. He He

No, but when I first started working at the Vital Statistics building in Austin my boss & a friend more than once came back from the ladies room & tell about the man that came in. For the first 4 years I hardly ever used that bathroom because of that. Only when it became too difficult to use the small stalls in the other restroom because of my torn rotator cuff did I go to that one. I know I more than once directed gentlemen to the correct restroom.

I should add that when I started working in a new building that didn't have the signs up on the restrooms yet I walked into the wrong one, but the urinals sort of gave it away.

ohhhh yes I have done this. I was in the habbit of going to an Irish bar near the university i was teaching in. They had a policy of putting the sign on the toilet doors in old Irish, with no pictures, i never did learn which was which and often wondered in un anounced. Hehehe, the first time i did it, i didnt notice the male stand, just went in to the stall and did my business. However, on exit i was greeted by a row of males all too embarassed to turn round. Lol I even got a cheer from behind the bar blessed be

Oh yes. Many times. But this is about when I intentionally went in the womens restroom. I was at a Gratefuldead Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan concert at the Metrodome here in Minneapolis in the mid 80's. I had been drinking a lot before and during the concert and had to go REALLY bad. There was a huge line. I noticed the womens line was half the length so off I went saying, "Emergency" walking past all the women in line. They actually allowed me to go past into the restroom. only a few more women entered after i did though. I did my number and left to many a stare and glare. Also a few harsh words said towards me. Hahahaha. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
