Are you in favor of abortion?

Life is God-given. As the bible says, killing is a mortal sin. Abortion is not different from killing (it's parricide). A single fetus with heartbeat is a life in itself. Many couples agree that the female partner undergo abortion because of voluminous reasons - not ready, health reasons, career reasons, etc. A Life of the unborn is equally sacred. It should not be taken away by anybody, not even the mother.

I am NOT in favour of abortion either - having said that, having a heartbeast technically doesn't make it alive - it needs to breath to be living & if you were to take a fetus out of a Mother (for arguments sake) it would not survive, the heartbeat would stop since the mother is no longer sharing her life force with the fetus, it could not breath due to not having any organs & it is only seemingly alive while in the Mother. I think abortion is wrong but not for religious reasons - more because if you are pregnant & don't wish to keep the baby due to financial circumstances or age etc, you can still carry to term, put up for adoption & give a couple unable to have children the chance to be parents. I see where you're coming from but not everyone has the same beliefs as you do, not everyong believes in God or religion!

To me I feel its a personal choice, I mean I would never do such a thing or recommend it to anyone, But I do know family and friends who has done this in the past, I don't judge them for that's not my place, and talking with them it is a topic that does always seem to surface and the emotions come tearing out! I think for some ladies they see no light at the end of the road like they have no where to go! This is something I think I want to involve myself in trying to help some of these women out when my children are a bit older.

I agree with you totally. Abortion is not the answer to a problem especially for the few that use it as a form of contraception. In our country there is a very low rate of adoption with many people waiting years to adopt a baby. Perhaps if some realised that life is sacred, these people that are so desperate for a child of their own and cannot have one for whatever reason, could give an unwanted child a good life. Needless to say I am against abortion.

I'm pro-choice, a woman should be free to decide what happens with her body. I personally would have a hard time deciding to have an abortion myself, but I will never force those feelings on anyone else. I respect human beings far too much. I would only advice against having a long term abortion, but that's again my own opinion. I do however believe that sometimes abortion is just the best thing. So many children are born that are unloved and ignored by their parents. These children are abused, not just psychically, but mentally and they grow up to be broken and hurt adults - if they survive childhood that is. My heart breaks every time I hear of another little baby or young child being murdered horribly by parents who didn't love him or her or worse, that the mother let her boyfriend murder the child. Honestly, it then would have been for the best if the child had never been born. I know, everyone has a right to live, but that life should be worth living in the first place.

Of course i am not in favor in abortion. Right it is a mortal sin. Thats why it is a big responsibility. So if somebody thinks about it, she must think it a million times before doing it.

I agree with you as abortion is clear case of murder,It is a situation where a murderer is not considered as a killer legally , something must be done in this regard

This is such a controversial subject and of a very personal thing. I personally do not agree with abortion, but we have to take different peoples reasoning into consideration. I have just finished reading the book, 'The atonement child' by Francine Rivers. A very though provoking story. I agree with you, all life is sacred.

I am not in favor of abortion. But there are instances that a woman should be free to terminate her pregnancy for reasons that she feels to be valid. Example are if it is needed to save the life of the woman, when the fetus is so malformed or have abnormality and was the result of rape or incest.
