I was just wondering if anyone else out here is afraid to walk or drive over bridges? I get really scared to the point I will hold my breath, or be in tears. Would anyone know why this is? Thank you for your Time Stacy

I am terrified of driving over bridges..My heart beats out of my chest i go into cold sweats and I'm on the verge of tears..its a real problem when you live on an island lol let me tell you..i have no idea maybe its because its is so high and if it crashed down we will be crushed or drown sorry but that's how i feel lol Cheryl

Hi Stacy, thank you for writing to me. I have always been scared of bridges and to this day I don't know why. One time we were in San Diego they have the Coronado Bridge there and I believe the height is around 300 ft as I drove on it, the higher it got the lower i went, ( I was driving at the time) my hands were sweating so bad. I like also know why I get this way. I just don't care to cross any bridges and let alone walk over one.

Probably cause you have a fear of heights and you are trusting the bridge to hold the weight etc... There are some bridges we have driven over that sway a little bit and that makes me really nervous!

Yea, there are these make shift bridges, they are usaually made of wood and they really look dangerous, I would certailny be affraid of walking on those weak structures over a deep river!
