what do you think are the reason why many filipino leave the philippines? i believe that if we have a good goverment who really concern about the filipino situation right now maybe our fellowmen could not thinking to leave this country because i know that philippines is rich in everything & most of all a very beautiful country. I wonder why the president did'nt see the situation of his people. PROBLEMS IN THE PHILIPPINES RIGHT NOW 1)Poverty 2)Education 3)Health 4)Corruption 5)the law itself 6)Plenty of Jobless 7)Security of the citizen 8)and most of all the goverment itself...... what is your opinion on this?

filipinos are naturally born ambitious

This is a good trait, moreso if this is being pursued positively. Good things can come out of ambitions. If we go abroad to earn more and live better, let's go for it.

It is alright if they go out of the country to earn more. There is nothing wrong with it. If you look around us, there are plenty of foreigners because their companies sent them over. We know that they are here because this is also a better earning opportunity for them. You will see then, that it is normal for people to be going places in order to earn. This is not happening to the Filipinos alone, this is a thing going around the world. It is not right that we blame the government for what is going on now. The present administration has inherited this scenario which started taking place during the administration of Ferdinand Marcos. This problem has never been adequately addressed from then on. The neighboring countries have shown us that they had coped with their poverty by changing into the parliamentary form of government. It is now our move to adopt this same form of government which has greatly alleviated their condition. Let us take a look at our neighbors here in southeat asia. They all used to be way down below us in economic standing. When they changed their form of government, they moved up so fast such that we are left behind. So much so, that it is now the Philippines at the bottom. May I remind you that Bangladesh was not a country then, it was a territory under India. So don't count it as the poorest there is. It is the Philippines that is the poorest there is.

I would say poverty, they would want to go abrod to earn more money. If they stay here, theis salaries wouldnt afford to satisfy all of their needs.

in my opinion is that we Filipinos have no sense of nationalism... we only want ourselves to prosper so we leave the country.. in leaving the country, it only shows that we dont want to help our country's economy.. well it's only my opinion though..

Yes, listed are problems not only in the Philipines. The very root cause of this problems is me, we are the people, and we are the government...have i clean my house lately, my own backyard and other backyard, the streets, did i pick up some trash, did i report crimes, etc, etc..long before the Peso is 1:1 against the dollar..Filipinos are all migrating to look for a greener pasture.....the very good question is..how can we help the leaders who lead this government(us) solve these problems.
