Is it possible for Sawyer to change?

I know none of you have seen tonight's episode because it's on at 10pm in the States (our Canadian channel runs it at 8pm), but it looks like Sawyer is going to have a makeover. Do you think it is possible for Sawyer to change into a nice guy? Do you think he can be a friend and leader to everyone at camp? My guess is no. I'll explain why after everyone has seen tonight's episode.

No he won't especially now that Jack is returning. There's always been that power struggle between the two and it's only going to be worse because Jack saw Kate and Sawyer in the cage. Besides, a leopard can't change it's spots. ‹(°¿°)›

That's what I didn't want to give away, that Jack was coming back. That is why I think he won't be able to change. And you are right. There will be tension between the two because of Kate.

It would have been funny to see him struggle between his sarcastic and nice side but now it's going to be back to the same old Sawyer.

I like Sawyers cockiness. I look forward to it each episode. I like to see a tender or nice side to him. But he has to keep the cockiness. He would not be Sawyer with out it. I like the bad man with a tender side.

I believe that he has a tender side, even though he is such a rough guy. Life toughened him up. It is nice to see the soft side of a person. Makes them more likeable.

I'm super glad that Jack is coming back just for this reason! Sawyer is a bad man! He's been bad- Not like Kate who killed her step dad (he deserved it).. Sawyer is one messed up man. He's greedy! They practically had to beg him for medicine and all other things that he found and claimed- I don't think he would be a good leader- I'm sure the other people probably would not look up to him anyways!

That is so not fair that you get to see the show 2 hours before me. Sawyer can change for short amounts of time. Then he will return to being himself. He just can not help it.
