Why is it that we feel the Grass much greener on the other side of the fence. I think it is the human mentality that we are never content with what we have and always strive for more. We always think think what we have is not enough. And, what we have is not the best. I do not think this will ever change.

I agree with that. We are never happy with what we have and we always want to get whatever our neighbor has. I am tired with my child who always wants me to get him the latest toys and games. We always have to keep up with the Joneses. His friends toys are always better. Even when I cook most of the time I don't like my cooking. The food doesn't taste that great. But when somebody else makes the same food it tastes wonderful. When it's cold we complain and we want the weather to be hot and when it's hot we complain again and we wish it was cold. This will never change I guess like you say it is just human mentality.

ya me too agree with you its only human mentality that he feels always that other person is more happy than him but it is not true always because everyone have some problem in life and it is sure, but i think its good if you have all things in your life so there is no aim of life so its good to alwaays have some aim and for it we should have desire for something... and it is also sure that a person can not be sasisfy in anyway by any means, its true.

You are right kukkad. I think that in one way it is good to have that mentality because that gives way to do more and succeed in our life. Only when we think of achieving more, we work hard for it and one day we succeed in what we work. But in few cases people become greedy of it and spoil their life!

I think most humans are never happy with what they have. I honestly am now happy with my life, wouldn't change a thing (except for more children), but if you asked me 6 months ago, I'd say I wanted something different. But now we've got a good income and a good home, that's all I want in life!

Yea, you are right it's got to do with human mentality. But you should realize that it isn't a bad thing. Because if it weren't for it no one would have invented anything. We would still be in the stone age, taking degree courses in rubbing flint.
