The gender of non-living things.Lol :D

Till date we knew that non-living things are neuter gender. It's time to think of them differently. I came accross this interesting piece of knowledge and thought of sharing with all my friends here. It's funny.Though some are not very innocent perceptions. I hope and know you won't mind.:D 1. An hourglass is female because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom. 2. A subway is male, because it uses same old lines to pick people up. 3. Sponges are female, because they are soft and retain water(tears). 4. Ziplock bags are male, because they hold everything in,but you can see right through them. 5. A tyre is male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated. 6. A web page is female, because its always getting hit on. 7. A hammer is male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around. 8. A remote control is female( ah,you thought it to be male, didn't you),but consider this, man would be lost without it,and while he doesn't quite know the right buttons,he keeps trying. If you have more to add, you're welcome.:-)

:-) I'll try. A breeze is feminine because she keeps changing directions like a womam's mind. An umbrella is male coz ever so often it gets misplaced. Memories are feminine as they never give up on us. Mountains are masculine because they stand tall and protect us from the chill on the other side. A feather is feminine for it's soft and delicate. Trees are male as they provide us shade and comfort. The ocean is feminine for the depth of it's heart. The thunder is masculine as it warns us of the impending danger. Internet is feminine because she is irrestible and has the heart of gold-Though some might disagree, lol.

Thanks bluewings.:-) Since I agree with ziplock bags being male,as you can see right through them,I think,I would go with fog being female. You still thinking? Lol

These are good. I had expected the same old song and dance about things as female etc. These are thought out and truly seem to apply. Do appreciate you sharing them here at Mylot today! Will check to see if there are more to be shared by others that respond here.

1) Freezer Bags -- They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them. 2) Copiers -- They are Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed. 3) Tire -- Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated. 4) Hot Air Balloon -- Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part. 5) Sponges -- female because they're soft, squeezable and retain water. 6) Web Page -- Female, because it's always getting hit on. 7) Subway -- Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up. 8) Hourglass -- Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom. 9) Hammer -- Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around. 10) Remote Control -- Female...... Ha! You thought it'd be male. But consider this -- it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.

Creative, entertaining, yet thought provoking. A book is male because it has a strong backbone (spine). That's the best I can do for right now.
