Hi, what about resting our seniors for about say, an year and giving oppurtunity to youngsters like raina, kaif, powar, piyush chawla, joginder singh, dinesh karthik and even hemang badani in the meantime. It will serve many purposes. One, it will give our seniors like tendulkar, sehwag, ganguly (yes, he has to increase his strike rate and improve his fielding), dravid and dhoni (yes, he's a senior now, atleast in his attitude and committment to the endorsements game) some rest and fresh air to get their priorities right. Two, they may literally feel what they were achieving through cricket when it is no longer available. Three, our youngsters will get more belief and self confidence playing without them, so the cricketing future of india will be secured. I am sure we will suffer a few losses during this transition, but acceptable considering the WC debacle. Understand that I am not in favour of ousting seniors, but only giving them a temporary break in career to set their priorities right and the insight to play for the team above personal perceptions. Thanks.

There is no point of team with no seniors.. Atleast half of the team must be with seniors.. But the youth must be given a chance too..

Let every Indian cricketer fight for his place in Indian team now. No respect should be given based on the past performance of the player. We have to think about next World Cup and it would be full 4 years to prepare for that World Cup. We can create many more Tendulkars, Dravids, Gangulys during that time. If anyone thinks that its not possible he is undermining the strength of this great country. We really just can't think in terms of vouching for the old Indian Tigers for a fight which is going to take place 4 years later.

I think, endorsements should be stopped and performance based contracts should be given and not experience based. Yes, we must give the new players a try but only with the seniors (idle combination- 7 experienced and 4 new players). I don't think that our national level players have the quality except for a few and thus, the competition there is not so good and firstly, we must get lesser number of teams playing for getting good competitions. I am not very very disappointed with Dravid, Ganguly or Sachin but Dhoni has led me just a bit down(but, it is his batting position, I think that is not right).
