Paint is always a good and inexpensive way to add some sparkle to your room. Scour your house, maybe there are some neglected items from other parts of your house that would work perfectly in your room. Garage sales and flea market are also good sources of inexpensive things that can add that oomph to your bedroom. Goodluck and let me know what happens!

Have you ever watched the show 'Design on a Dime'? I love it because they have a budget that they work with and they try to stay within that budget. I would first decide what the budget is, then shop for things that are inexpensive to help you change the room. Paint is pretty inexpensive so if you can paint it yourself this is a good way to make a change with impact. Also, if you can afford buying a bedding set that comes with the comforter, pillow shams and sheet set, then this will also be a nice change. I look for bargains at local stores for these things as well as some nice throw pillows and new curtains. Good luck with your decorating.

I often re-arrange bed and my things in my bedroom. Change the bed position might help to give another view of the room. And de-clutter. Get rid of things/ furniture that make the bedroom looks small. Fresh cutting flowers will also make a nice extra details. Good luck !!!
