Why do you think mylot dosn't allow personal referral links?

It seems weird to me alto I'm sure somewhere in there is a logic for it. Please help me. I posted a discussion with a personl link and they wrote me a message saying if I did it again I would get kicked. ??

1. Referral links are a from of advertsing--the same as spam. 2. The site is for discussions. Mylot is very clear about what is and isn't a discussion. Referral links don't encourage discussions. Read the guidelines if any of this isn't clear to you.

i think its because they dont like you using the discussions pages against them. For example if you post a personel referal link here you are effectively trying to take members away from here blessed be

Good point. But if you post a regular link to a home page you may be doing the same thing. Really what I'm getting at is why is it ok to post a regular link and not a referral one?
