Is their anything you regret? Would you have changed your profession, spouse, told someone you loved them before they died. What?

i don't know. i don't have any regrets. i mean i wish i would have learned a few lessons sooner, but do i regret anything that has happened in my life, not at all. everything i went through has taught me to be who i am right now. and i am learning new lesson every day to become that woman i want to be. if i had to rewrite a chapter in the book of me, i would like to have had my parents around longer.

You seem to have a sense of peace which lets you know that your parents are still with you.

I actually don't know where I would start. In hindsight there are so many things that everyone wouuld change about their lives, now that they are older. In a way I think the topic is a dangerous one as it forces you to think on past and not concentrate on the present, or the future. After all, you can't go back and change things in the past-- as much as we would all like to. It also makes you wonder if it would be wise to have done things differently at all. Your past makes you who you are today. How many people, things, loves, experiences would you have never had? And would the changes really be worth it when all is said and done? While this is a great topic, I think I would rather look to the future than to the past.

You know what? you are right! It's not good to dwell on wouldve'could've should've. More of us need to concentrate on making the future better. Thanks for bring that up. Good comment
