how to be a good teacher

I feel the key to being a good teacher is being a good friend.If you could make the lessons interesting and entertaining for the students ,then they would welcome you.It's only when they feel intimidated and bored that they run from teachers.

I agree with you! I am a teacher for students from fifth to Masters Degree. I faced so many problems because of different attitudes and their grownup environments but i overcome with all those by sparing time to know about the personal life of students and also have interaction with the parents of the students..... Once student came to know that we are close to parents automatically they oblige our words... at the same time we have to boost up the parents regarding present sinario of the education and survivality at the same time our personal experience s in financial growth due to lack of jobs and etc the parents in return tell the students to follow our words then automatically all problems will be solved So, try to develop innovative methods instead blaming their past performances....
