How do you cook hot dogs?

i am not a big hot dog fan but my kids love them. my husband loves cooking on the grill so last summer he decided to try something different and cut a slit in the dog and put garlic and cheese in it then grilled it. it was so yummy! the best dog i had ever had.

I like fried cheese hotdogs.

I have always boiled them,it doesnt take long just a few minutes,I take them out of the packet and if they have the skin on them you need to watch them because if you cook them too long they pop out of the skin and then the color comes out of them,i generally buy skinless.Overall they can be boiled and only for a few minutes.Not sure if this is how everyone does them but thats how I have always done them??

i usually boil them after removing them from the package. i don't like the idea of frying them since i am not really fond of oily foods...
