Who do you miss the most in your life?

I just moved to Florida after having lived in Europe for two years, and it just gets tougher and tougher every time I have to leave from one country to another, even when I have just been visiting on vacation. Who do you miss the most in your life? Do your children/parents live in a different state, or have you moved far away from your friends and family?

I miss my family and friends in my home country, the Philippines. I just got here in the U.S. last September, 2006 to start work. I'm a teacher here. I'm not used to being away from my family even when I was still back home, and the Filipinos are usually tight-knit; so it really took me quite some time to get rid of absolute homesickness. I'm looking forward to summer break this June, and I shall be visiting the Philippines again! Happy myLotting!

Well, I have my sister here with me, but it's still not the same. I'm new to my work (only months' old) so I'm still trying to get adjusted. My colleagues are nice, though, that's why I'm somehow fine. Anyway, I shall be vacationing in June, so that's something. Thanks for the concern! Hope everything turns out okay with you!

Oh do I know that feeling of missing family and frinds back in my native country. I have moved back and forth so much though that I am really torn between my native country and the U.S. After two years in Denmark, I have decided though, that the U.S., is where I belong, and I will work hard on making this my family's homecountry, and I will make sure that we integrate all our cultures into our family traditions. Do you know a lot of people from the Philippines here in the U.S.? Also, did you find it easy to find friends, or have it only been the superficial kinds of friendships that you have gotten so far. Once you start getting real friends, it begins to get easier.

i had a friend in highschool. her name was Lisa Jones. I have lost touch with her and i so wish I could find her. I know she has at sometime been on Classmates.com, but I do not have a membership so I can not get to her from there. I hope one day to find her again.

I have moved around the world so many times, so I know what you mean. Maybe one day you will run into her again - when you least expect it. It is a shame that she has such a common name though, she might be difficult to find. Do you know her parents names, maybe this would be your way back to this high school friend.

Yes the thought of not having responsibilities and not worry constantly is certainly something I miss, but then again, I am at a point in my live that I really enjoy.

I mainly miss my old high school and college experiences. These times were so fun and I got to meet all sorts of new people and get to know them very well. With this comes me also missing my youth days, the fun activities like participating in school sports (I personally played basketball and baseball), learning how to drive from my parents, long summer nights with parties and get togethers. *Sigh* those were the days!

I know exactly what you mean, although I am only 26, I almost get emotional when thinking of my high school and college experiences, and man sometimes I miss not having to worry anout everything.
