I have been here for about two months now. I have seen several upgrades and improvements to the site in that time, and the site seems to be doing well... and that is a good indication that myLot might be here for some time. Of course, we don't know what is happening "behind the scenes," and ultimately the site will only continue if the company makes a profit. I will probably continue to use the site as long as it continues to be interesting-- I have made a few nice friends here, and I enjoy the "interactive" nature of the site. If the myLot business plan is working, I think we will slowly see more and more features added. I expect the "backbone" of the site will still be in interactive discussions, but we will have more and more extra features found on a "social network" like MySpace-- from writing our own blogs ON the site (right now it is only blogs from external links), maybe uploading our own music, videos; perhaps a "web mail" system as well, perhaps "groups" where people with particular interests start discussions, and so on. In two years, there could be as much as 500,000 registered members if all goes well-- but I'm afraid we would probably also see income go down or-- at least-- the minimum cashout go up to $25.00 to ensure that payment only goes to those who REALLY add "value" to the site.
