What do the different colors mean on the stars?

United States

Since I just received my star and rating, I have noticed that there are different colors as well. Do you know what the difference between the colors are or what they mean?? Any help would be appreciated.

The coloured stars are there just to add a look to it, and all stars mean your reputation here at mylot. Congrats on your 9 tinam, great going!:) I haven't come across any of your other discussions earlier, will sure take a look. And you might want to go here and read a few discussions: www.mylot.com/mylot Informative discussions regarding mylot and its rules, reforms, alerts. It will be useful since you are still new here:)

Yeah, the colors alone don't mean anything. It's just a way to make your star rating standout from the other numbers. All 9's are red, 10's are blue...kind of like award ribbons are done, blue for 1st, red for 2nd. Congratulations on coming out a 9! You must have been really busy on here today to make it to 100. You'll catch up to me soon at that rate, I've barely gotten 10 done today!

Hey Foxy, Thanks for the information. I was just curious and did not stop to think about it I guess. I appreciate your congratulations. I have set up my notification to send me an email when any of my friends begin a new discuusion. I did not even realize how quickly my responses had grown so fast. And it makes it so easy for me to see what ya'll are talking about that day.

Well i don't know the exact difference of it but i think it is just to differeniate between different numbers. you might be thinking what the to differentiate the number because number can be differentiate by itself. i mean just different colours for different numbers to recognise more clearly. By the way you got 9 star rating in such a small number of posting congrats for that.

Thanks for the congratulations, Beetel_Jack. I read alot of discussions but only respond to the discussions that I feel that I can actually add something to. Then I put alot of thought into my response. I have been fortuanate enough to have made some friends and look forward to making many more. It makes sense that they would use a different color to help to differienate between the numbers by color for easy recognition. Thanks again.
