Last month two family moved in the 2 door apartment in front of our house. Since then, I seldom have peace and quite time. They are very very noisy. They are always chattin' loudly and they laugh like hell. At first, I thought I was the only one complaining about this, but it turned out that several of neighbors cannot stand the noise, as well. If they are not talking....their radios or TV are set on maximum level. They are like deaf. Not only that, a week after they moved in, one of the kid left a lighted candle inside the bathroom, probably the wind blew and their curtain caught a fire. One neighbor saw the smoke coming out of their house so she ran outside shouted "fire". My neighbors and I ran to see and help put out the fire. But their door was lock, apparently nobody's home. So one man, forced the door open. There was smoke all over the house, and they were not able to pin point immediately where the fire is. Luckily, the firepolice came just in time. They were able to put out the fire before it became big. Our new neighbor didn't even bother to apologize or thank us all for what happen. Do you think we should petition them? How should we handle them?

Usually persons like the ones you described won't change even if you complain about their acts to the local police or stuff like that. This lifestyle is in their blood and no matter what you are doing or telling them they will not stop acting like this because they either don't want to do that, or they cannot do that! I had an issue symilar to this one in here also! I had some very very noisy neighbors also. They used to play music all the time in their apartment at an extremely high level of volume that i barely could hear anyone speaking near to me in my own room! It was unbelievable but one day I decided to pay him with the same coin and I started to play music just like him until he realized how was I feeling in my house! After that he came to my door and apologized and everything turned out to be just fine right now! That's how it is, sometimes you've gotta stand up for your rights and even fight for them if that's the case! :)
