I would like to ask for stories and testimonies any of the MyLot community would like to share about their marriage. I'm praying for a miricle in mine and want to know if anyone else out there would like to share their story of God's work in turning a bad situation around. I pray daily and have faith that God is working in our lives. But I have trouble with worrying about it pinning. I need some encouragement from those who have been in situations that could have broken your marriage, but God came and took care of things.

Well, I haven't had a bad time in my marriage but I did before I was married and the Lord brought me a miracle in the form of my husband. I was hanging out with this guy and I thought he liked me so we would hang out after work, talk on the phone etc. for months. Well he then began asking if my family could start coming along, my mom, dad, and younger sister. My dad and I worked with this "friend". So about 3 or 4 months later, we are out eating at a resturant and he asks my father if he could date my sister. I was devistated. Towards the end now looking back I see the signs, but then I didn't. Well, I was so heart broken that when my boss asked me to go to a town in southern arkansas (I live in central arkansas) I jumped at the chance. I wasn't looking for love or even a new friendship but God had other plans. 5 days before I had to leave to come back I met a guy and we started talking and hanging out. I felt at such peace when I was around him and one year later we were married. That was 4 years ago. We just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. I had given up on God. I was so mad at Him but it turns out that He had this all planned. That is my testimony.

I'm glad things turned out good for you. Other people have told me to just wait to see what God has in store for me, cuz maybe Eric isn't the one he planned for me. But I just can't see how God would want me to get divorced and be with someone else! Eric is in a horrible place right now and I KNOW this isn't the path God wants for him! So I just pray and keep myself from interferring in God's work. Thanks for your story.

I moved in with my sister in October 1998. At the time, her husband had started seeing another woman. I was there to help out with the six children. Shortly after I moved in with my sister, her husband moved in with the other woman. Even though her husband was not living as a Christian at the time, she still wanted him back, mainly because of the children. He still love his children and would come over regularly to see them. My sister prayed and fasted and read a lot of books and did everything she knew to do. One day, the Lord gave her a promise of just four words, they were, nothing missing, nothing broken. My sister held one to these four words until her husband came home.

How long did it take for him to come home? How did she get this message? I go to the prophetic ministry at church for God's words to be spoken to me, but many people have the gift of hearing God. Thank you for your story. I will keep praying!

When my husband and I were first married...we had some problems due to my former relationships. I didn't know how to be loved or how to properly love. We went to counseling in the church and found great help and healing. I know now today that if we hadn't gotten this counseling, our marriage could not have survived what we were battling very well at all. Thanks Jesus Christ that he has blessed us with finding his will and not our will. Amen.Keeping you in prayer.Latisha
