Lowfat Taco Soup

1 large onion
1 pound ground beef
1 package Ranch Dressing mix
1 package Taco Seasoning
1 can beef stock
1 can hot chili beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can Mexican Stewed tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add Seasoning mixes and mix well, then add everything else. Do not drain any of the ingredients. Cook on low heat one hour.

Yum, this sounds awesome. I love any/all mexican type recipes and I am also dieting so this just works out well for me! I imagine that one could substitute any type of bean that they had on hand, such as black beans, if they didn't have pintos. Thanks!

It is awesome. I love it and yes, I substitute all kinds of beans if I can't find the ones I'm looking for. I have a 3 bean chicken chili recipe that I need to put on here too.
I am wondering if I can remember all the ingredients off the top of my head, because I am at work today.

I'm so sorry! Perhaps you might do as I do when I can't find things...Make it your own.
Take the base ingredients that you CAN find and add and subtract things. When you've got a great new soup...be sure and send me the recipe~!

It is very good. My family loves it. My girls love to make it because it's an easy recipe to follow, and everyone makes such a big deal over it.

This looks really good. Have you made it before.I have a brother that loves Taco soup and I think I may make this and invite him and his family to dinner next weekend. It has been a few months since I have had just them over for dinner. thanks for sharing hte recipe

that would be fine. I'm actually searching through my soup recipes for something for the banquet I'm catering next weekend. I thought since I was already looking through them, I might as well share.
