Yum, this sounds awesome. I love any/all mexican type recipes and I am also dieting so this just works out well for me! I imagine that one could substitute any type of bean that they had on hand, such as black beans, if they didn't have pintos. Thanks!

It is awesome. I love it and yes, I substitute all kinds of beans if I can't find the ones I'm looking for. I have a 3 bean chicken chili recipe that I need to put on here too. I am wondering if I can remember all the ingredients off the top of my head, because I am at work today.

I'm so sorry! Perhaps you might do as I do when I can't find things...Make it your own. Take the base ingredients that you CAN find and add and subtract things. When you've got a great new soup...be sure and send me the recipe~!

Oh that would be fun. Be sure and let me know if they like it would you? I'd love to know that others are enjoying my recipes as much as my family.

It is very good. My family loves it. My girls love to make it because it's an easy recipe to follow, and everyone makes such a big deal over it.

that would be fine. I'm actually searching through my soup recipes for something for the banquet I'm catering next weekend. I thought since I was already looking through them, I might as well share.
