Wow, touchscreen laptops are very expensive. I suggest that before buying you should do an extensive research about the product you're going to buy. Here's a good link: http://reviews.cnet.com/4244-3121_7-0-1.html?query=touchscreen&tag=all.1.1 Cnet is a very good site for reviewing products. They give a very thorough review and you can compare products and they even have sites that sell the products they've reviewed. Hope this helps.

Hi.. Many of laptops brand nowadays offer touch screen in their high end model. Look at Toshiba tablet, or NEC (www.toshiba.com or www.nec.com), they are fitted with touchscreen. You can also look at Panasonic toughbook (www.panasonic.com). Their high end model is shock proof, dust proof, water spill proof, and fitted with touch screen as well.

I suggest Fujitsu and Toshiba's tablet PC's. I don't know if Sony, Compaq, Acer, Asus, and HP have tablet PC's but these are nice brands too. Just visit their websites. I heard that tablet PC's are not that durable. You might want to consider laptops.
