Did the Offer Time Period Change?

It usually says I will get a response within 5 business days with an offer when I submit something to Associated Content, but today I got a different response: "Thank you! Your content has been submitted. You will receive an email once your content has been reviewed (within two weeks)." Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, an offer I received last night said that the content would be reviewed (within two weeks). I actually mentioned somewhere on the AC forums that they had made this change. There is also a lot of concern about PVs right now. Some of my colleagues have received e-mails from AC saying that their ROI isn't high enough and that they need to be approaching 500 PVs per article. I'm not anywhere close to that mark. If anyone would like to reciprocate some page views, I'd be more than willing. My content page is here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/40693/ryan_stephens.html E-mail me your link and I'll read at least a few of your articles and rate them and provide some comments if you do the same for me. Best of luck with AC.

I didn't notice this. I don't really pay attention, though. I've noticed that a lot of times it does take close to 2 weeks, so I am glad that they are finally changing it to make it more accurate. I've had a few that only took 5 days, but not many.

I noticed that too. It's seemed to take 2 weeks for awhile now, so I'm not surprised. It wasn't always 5 days either, for awhile they just didn't really say.

I didn't notice this message, but Associated Content has been taking more than 5 days for a long while with my articles. I expect that they thought they would be bombarded with the last special offer, too, which was for product reviews. Two weeks is probably a more realistic time frame for them.

I submitted a couple days ago and didn't pay attention to the messge that I got. I am pretty sure it said five days but I could be wrong. Maybe they are getting swamped with submissions and extended the offer period. It might just be because of the holiday so the next time you submit, see if it goes back to the five day time frame.

I've only submitted 7 articles, 6 of which have been published. No, I haven't had that response to any. I haven't had a response within 5 business days to most, either. The quickest one was 6 calendar days, the longest 14. It's been 5 days since I sent the latest one, so maybe Monday I'll hear something. They do seem to be having a lot of new writers every week, so that could be why it's taking so long to read everything.

I submitted an article on April 5th and just got a notificatin today that they made an offer on it. Every offer seems to be less and less ... It took them 11 days to figure out if they wanted it or not. That's more than the initial five days and just a shade under two weeks.
