Does anyone write for Constant Content? Do you respond to their requests?

I've signed up for Constant Content, but never written anything for them. I receive requests for articles just about every day from them. I am wondering if anyone has ever responded to one of these, and if so, did they select that article? Any feedback on this or any other information on Constant Content would be appreciated. Good luck with your writing!

I write for Constant Content sometimes, but rarely respond to their requests because it seems like everybody else does. Usually, what I have found is that if I am writing an article for someone else and can reqrite it for Constant Content as well, then I post it. They keep trying to sell them, so once I post it to the site I just forget it until they send me an email saying it sold. I wrote an article last fall about weddings and it sold in February. You can't count on it happening quickly, but stuff does sell and when it sells, you get paid well. My wedding article made me $58.

Thanks for your comments and insight. I keep waiting till I have a good enough article to submit, but I guess with that attitude, I'll be waiting forever. Just wondered how lucrative those special requests were; it seems like there are a lot, but I think it would be worse to write about an obscure topic you don't know anything about and have it sit there unpurchased forever. At least if you are interested in what you are writing, like your wedding article, you get the enjoyment from writing it, even if it takes awhile to sell. Thanks again for responding.

I've only gotten one request from them... do these requests go to everybody who asks for them, or are they sent out to writers based on the types of articles they've written in the past?

These are general requests that go to everyone. Sometimes they are very specific and often they are on more obscure topics, something that you would likely have to research first before you could write anything. I was over on the site tonight reading through the writers' guidelines and FAQs. It says that they send out both specific private requests to particular authors (which must be what you received) and general requests that anyone can address. That's what I was asking about.

My answer is no I haven't. Mainly because I had not heard of the site. However, now that you mention it I might check it out and see what it has to offer. If I like what I see I'll sign up. If I have feed back at a later date I will get back to you. Thanks for the tip.

I don´t respond to their requests, but I do note what topics are popular through their requests. Then I write a similar article and often it sells. But I don´t submit to the actual requester.

I hadn't heard of this site before. I will look forward to hearing what anyone else has to say about them, too.
