My son hates vegetables the only ones he will eat are corn and carrots (smothered in ketchup or ranch) People say your kids will eat what you eat but I disagree we eat a variety of vegetables and fruit he's almost four and doesnt want to touch much of either. Do any of you have any tips or tricks on how to sneak veggies into your kids diet.

my 3 year old daughter wants nothing but veggies and fruit. they are her favorite. i can't get her to eat much else. she won't eat much meat. when i want pizza she won't want anything on it but the bread but then i bought the stuff to make the pizza at home and she helped me make it. we put all sorts of stuff on it and she ate it cause she was excited of what she made. try getting him to help out with the preparation of the food. it might encourage him to eat it.

before i forgot i want to greet you WELCOME TO MYLOT... is your child loves to eat pizza, pasta or burger.. try to chop finely veggies and put it on top of pizza or put in a pasta sauce or ground beef for a burger... like mushrooms and eggplants so the veggies will not be too obvious...

Every child is different, so I totally agree with you. Fortuenly we have a son who likes to eat what we eat. Does your son like cheese or applesauce. Or whatever your son like to eat. Try mixing those vegatables with wheat your son likes. Just maybe he will develop a liking for some other vegatables.

Cut the vegetables as thinly as possible and mix a little amount each time to his favorite food. This is what I used to do when my kids were very young. I believe that it is natural for most kids to prefer meat over vegetables. When you make sauces, add some veggies to them, too. It will be much easier when you make sandwiches. Little amount of veggies can always be made a part of the filling. Slowly, you will find that your kid will develop his taste and love for vegetables. Never forget to serve fruits for your child each day.
