we're on our way to easter egg hunting at one of our hotels here and i was wondering if people in the other parts of the globe still do this, too.

I use to play along with that type of game, and I really missed it. I think there are only a small number of people who organizes this type of enjoyment for kids, and I really am saddened that they have forgetton this once in a year type of event. I remember that I got involved on it one-time to where my father used to work in a famous hotel here in Metro Manila during the eighties, the now-forgotten Tropical Palace Hotel(which was burned by union members).

We do not have Easter egg hunts in Norway. It is not a part of the Easter tradition here. On saturday morning the children get eggs filled with candy. We also decorate eggs and hang them on birch branches. Those are our egg traditons for Easter

oh, but that's also nice! at least, easter is still celebrated - that's what's more important, right?

yup. The important thing is to celebrate - and to have traditions. It does not matter all that much what they are, as log as it is somethig you enjoy with family and friends year after year. It creates a sense of belonging to take part in traditions like that.

of course they do. Easter Egg hunting is a MAJOR part of easter... well the commercial easter anyway not the religious part which I think should be promoted more instead of the chocolate and candy and presents and bunnies ... hmm kind of like christmas minus the bunny lol. Happy Easter anyway and god bless

correct! i also believe that the religious part is more important. but, i guess, times have changed. we do what we have to do.

last friday, i posted about meditating and praying on that day coz it commemorates christ's dying on the cross. somebody replied they don't do that in scotland anymore coz praying is outdated. needless to say, i was shocked but i respected his beliefs. that's why i wonder if maybe, egg-hunting or easter is outdated, too?
