how many words in one minute can you type?

As such the typing is a skill part and can be achived with a little coaching and matter of practice but the professionals normally don't care to this part of learning in a systematic way to gain some speed in typing. In olden days the typing was only the job of a clerk who used to work in various offices but as the world has been too familier to the computers now a days one has to care this skill seriously I think. The wonders can happen when you actually have a training of typing and some practice. One can achive a speed of 120 words per minute and helps you in your work input in computers as well. Few computer professionals go for this typing course in vacations and advise my friends to do this ones in life which pay you a lot in life. I normally can type with 40 words per minut because I have not taken the proper training and being a retired parsonnel I don't think very needed thing in life at this age. Right now I use only two fingers for typing and in actual we are supposed to use all our ten fingers for this typing which improves your work five times. i average 60wpm when i don't feel any urgency in what i type. but i can hit up to 80wpm on good times. still way too slow compared to my dad. he can do up to 150 wpm. c",)

well, my typing speed is just 45 - 50 words per minute. ive been typing since i was 16 till now im good at it. hehe lol

i personally average about 108 words per minute and at maximum I can do 120 words per minute.

maximum of 35-40 words per minute... I used to be faster before, when I was working at the Customer Service of a Website company... I type while talking to the client.
