Does Your Husband Clean His Shower? YUK!

I know this is the second bathroom-related, Husband related article I've posted today, but it's really getting me cranky! Here's the story: My personal bathroom is being used as a painting room due to the fact that my business requires me to finish guitar necks. I had to use the only room that is perfectly clean- my own bathroom. Needless to say, it is spotless and dustless. I made doubly sure by cleaning it (even the walls and ceiling) from top to bottom, and then vacuuming it all. One has to do this in order to get good results when spraying lacquer and polyurethane. Dust is the enemy in this case. So today I used my Hubby's bathroom to take my bath in. There is black mold in each corner, soap residue all over, two washcloths covered in detritus and black mold, and it really, really needs a cleaning. It takes all of a minute to squirt some bleach/cleaner into a moldy corner. Then you just shower it off, or wipe it off. Put the old washcloths in the wash! If they're moldy, wash them or throw them out! UGH! His towels are dirty, too. I always use my own... So does your significant other take care of his bathroom, or are you forced to take action?

Why is it that you clean your bathroom and not his? I always thought that the duties of a housewife is to clean all the rooms in the house not just some and not others. In our house we do share household chores but i do make sure all bathrooms are clean, some men dont pay the attention to details that women do,but i dont hink i would let my husbands bathroom get in the condition you say his is that just is not healthy.

well we share a bathroom first off...but since i'm home and he is out earning a living to support our family ofcourse i clean his bathroom...i make his food,do his laundry,it is my job to make sure his every need is met...if we both worked outside the home i'd hope that he we shoulder some of the household duties...to help me out

...definition of cleanliness differs from one person to another or from housewife-to-housewife for that matter. But i think most men are simply not capable of really cleaning. But my husband do clean(his definition)the bath tub after use -but that was only after i learned that he is cleaning up the tub after use when we are by friends for a visit -he has actually unintentionally mentioned it. Then i told him when he is able to clean up(after use) other people´s bath tub why can´t he clean ours. But his definition is not the same as mines but at least the tub is not dirty...and it still saves me a little time when i then clean the whole bathroom...
