We've set a date

For those of you who have asked about Kristen and Hunter's engagement plans. I just thought I'd follow up a little.
They did set a date this weekend. They're getting married August 8, 2008. That is exactly 16 months from today. Hunter was teasing Kristen about not ever being able to forget their anniversary because it will be 08-08-08.
They've also chosen colors. Their base color is a deep purple and then they're using silver and a pale lavender as accent colors.
Thanks to all of mylot friends who are keeping my head on straight and helping me keep my sanity as the mother of the bride.

It's the day before my mom's. I hope they'll be able to keep that date. It depends on how Kristen is doing with her classes. She will have to take 18 hours the next two semesters to be through in time. i worry about her trying to take that many hours and plan a wedding at the same time.

Oh I love their color choices - purple and particularly lavender being my favorite color.
That's funny the date they picked, my oldest son got married 02-02-02 and he says that's why they picked the date - to make it easier for him to remember. Have to admit it's easier for me to remember also.
My daughter, 21, informed me yesterday her and her fiance are going to start planning their wedding, again. This will be the third time and I'm not holding my breath as we've already had 2 dates set for the church and then it didn't happen.

well good luck! I am not sure if they'll hold this date or not. It's tentative, based on whether it looks as though Kristen is going to be finished with school or not. We should know by December if we're going to be able to keep it or have to move it back.
