It's happen to me as well. I felt like there is no real pattern on how to gain good earnings in mylot. One time I wrote 5 good responds and received 10 cents, but the next day I wrote 15 good responds, and received 8 cents. What give??? But now I try to forgot about earnings. I just wrote / responds to discussion that interest me without really expecting whether I'll get enough earnings or not.

Yes you are true I always try to give better and long responses but sometimes my earnings decrease instead of increasing.Same is the case with photo's sometimes better photo's fetch you less. Yes I think I should also forget about earnings and look for interesting discussions. Thanks a Lot!

Sometimes, i put in so much time and energy reading and responding to posts only to earn so little and on other days when i don't do enough hardwork, i seem to earn higher. Many times, i wonder how mylot calculate the earnings!

Yes, I always do a lot of posting, but never make a lot of money. It discourages me because I do put time into this and usually have nothing to show for it.

Yes after posting a lot one expects to make some good money but it discourages if the money is not as per our expectations.

I think everyone gets discouraged from time to time. I noticed my earnings a little off too, but I attributed it to the fact that yesterday was a holiday maybe people weren't responding as much. I wouldn't give up over it though. I always have hope that anything can get better.

Yes you are right our earnings are dependent on the earnings of myLot.As they pay us a part of their earnings. If their earnings decrease then the same will be reflected in our earnings too.

Well I am quite new in terms of number of postings. But I get only a few cents for my discussions and photo uploadings. It has really discouraged me.I read in the discussions that many members get 4-5 cents for one response. But I think I will try for some more days to find actually if it increases with the ratings one get and also with the quality of responses.

Well wait for some time and keep on posting quality responses/discussions and your earnings will also increase.Initially I also used to get earnings just like you.

Not really, because it is a two way thing. It can be a little disappointing if you feel that you have been very active and make positive worthwhile contributions and then discover that the earnings do not reflect this. I also find that some days I am too busy to spend much time here, or maybe spend a long time browsing through the discussions before posting, yet my earnings are better than I expected. This seems to balance it out so I am quite content to accept the situation as it is. I am quite happy if I qualify for payout each month, so it would be hard for me to become disillusioned.

Well yes I think that my responses were better then the previous days responses. But I think I forget that - one they are relative to the other responses, - second, it is the members who should like the responses. Also the earnings are dependent on many factors as best known to myLot.I think I just get carried a bit too much.

I don't expect much on my earnings, but I always do my best to achieve my average posting here. There are times that my earnings are down but I don't worry much about it, and I just try to expect on other things that know is worth my time spending for while I'm here. There are also times where my earnings receive some added bonuses, as I've been receiving some increase to my earnings lately.

Yes you are right instead of thinking about earnings we should look for responding to the discussions. But still it is difficult to ignore earnings, atleast for me.

It has happened to me a whole lot of times, but except I have something more important to do on the internet, I just keep participating... simply because half bread is better than non...LOL!

I don't get discouraged when I don't earn as expected in myLot. But it happens the other way around. When I get more then what I’m expecting I get very excited and that increase my willing to make more discussions.

I don't have little goals for myself everyday, so I can't really be discouraged, I am happy as long as I earn something. But sometimes I do get discouraged when I can't find anything to respond to or start a discussion. *smiles* I haven't earned much today too, but I wish you very good luck for tomorrow!
