Oh yes the catholic church always has a lot going on over the Easter period,. I think that over the easter period that we should reflex on what God has done for us and if we need to this is the most important time to change our lives around and redeem ourselves. Yes I think that you did the right thing in regards to the church and especially for God.

well...its nice to hear that...i agree with you because that's the real essence of holy week...and im kinda guilty because i wasn't be able to do better such as going to church often...we stayed in baguio and just went to grotto and therest of my spare time was used in non sense things...anyweiz i believe that what matter most is the sincerity and your truthfulness on what your doing...not hypocrisy and self righteous,,,we should not do it just because of the tradition or whatsoever..we have to do something meaningful because we want to....

I just hope that those people who have panatas would reconsider studying the Holy Bible as it is the one which should be followed by those who believe in God. Holy Week is not in the Holy Bible. Good Friday is a doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church which is in their Catechism. Christians in the New Testament did not have holy week, Good Friday, easter Sunday, and others being celebrated by the Catholics. Each religion has its own doctrines and their followers follow; otherwise, they wouldn't be followers. I am a Christian and I follow the Christian religion laid down in the New Testament. Anyway, we have the freedom of choice and we follow what we choose.
