the spammers will cause the users to drop from mylot.com?? I just have a feeling it will happen because they keep on posting discussions regarding how to earn more money using this site, that site and here is the proof. I'm just getting put off by reading it.

Users know better. Many here have tried many other sites, or have at least tried to research on the reputability of other sites. That's why myLot is still increasing in numbers (many of them are referrals from members here) and the decline in inactivity is less than the growing numbers. Others would just be absent for a while, but would still come back. So, the spammers couldn't really do anything about it but wish their toughest luck that at least one would oblige. I do hope that spammers won't succeed because it will not do any good. Thanks for this discussion, and happy myLotting!

Well I agree it's annoying and it's also against myLot guidelines so when you see them posting links like that you should report them. However, people like that will move on somewhere else to make money eventually - they always do. Just try to ignore their discussions in the meantime.

I don't think they will leave mylot because of the spammers. I think mylot is on top of things in that area. If we report the user as a spammer, they are taken care of quickly. In most cases that is. I have checked out a few other sites and none of them compare to mylot. I don't think anyone going to these other sites will stay away long! Mylot pays, and is lots of fun, what more cold they want?!

I hope that it does not happen. Hopefully as well, legitimate users will make use of the abuse-reporting tool and get rid of the offending posts. If their posts keep disappearing, so might those who post them.

i feel like i want to drop from mylot sometimes because of all those discussions that are so useless. i also get put off by seeing those discussions that ask about how the earnings work or how the reputation system works. those questions have been asked so many times so probably the answers could be found just by searching for it. i would rather answer discussions that were about real issues/events/thinking-type questions.
