Cleaning House: Any FlyLady members out there?

Flylady is a Yahoo! groups based website that helps people organize and clean their homes. Here's a link: http://www.flylady.net The website provides motivation to clean a part of your home as well as encourages you to get rid of clutter and junk. I like the 15 minute zone clean-ups for the day and I like ending the evening with a clean kitchen. In fact, I like most of the cleaning ideas and timelines. My house has definitely become neater and cleaner. But... there's something about flylady that I just don't like. Perhaps it is because it appears to be geared toward stay-at-home mothers instead of my current situation, which is s married but no children working woman. Or perhaps it is the self-esteem boosters that rub me the wrong way... I just can't place it. So, anyone else out there a flybaby or Flylady member?

It can be used well by people who work away from the house. She even talks about modifying the system for people who work outside the home. She emphasizes modifying the routines to suite your needs and schedule things around your schedule. I don't care for the emails and you really don't need them, just keep going back to the website. Which reminds me to go cancel my emails form them. They are just cluttering up my email, I don't even look at them anymore. But the system really has worked for me as anyone who has known me for years and seen my house recently could attest to. Best of luck.

It's true that her 15 minutes a day of cleaning is helpful, and I've gotten into the habit of making my bed every morning. I ended up cancelling the emails because I got so innundated. I should go back to the website and see what the new "zone" is for the week!
