Well just put your mouse pointer over your star and you'll get the definition of the star hehehe,by the way it reflects reputation and you gain reputation by giving best responses and getting + signs that are on right of you responses like you can see on mine three signs on the right + - ! , first positive sign means your giving me positive reputation point other one means negative and the last is about abuse.I guess you'll learn more by pointing your cursor over signs ,i hope this will help.

hello there..im not sure what the hehehe that you wrote is for..are you just kidding? but i will help you and ..ohh the other person that has mom in her name..sorry hun i forgot..lol..anywho.,.after you get 100 posts you are then opened to be rated by other users,,when you get a neg rating our star numbers go down..its nothing to do with mylot themseleves though..just how we rate each other..if you put your mouse over your or anyone elses star it wil show how many pos rating you got out of 100 %..iwouldnt worry too much about them,.,although from what i gather the longer you keep a 10 rating the more your earn..but thats what i heard/.

Thanks a lot Cloud_kicker_32, now it makes more sense to me. I still cannot get the mouse thing to work though, but I will try doing it again later. Thanks for the clarification.

You mean the mylot star?? That's your mylot reputation symbol. You get that when you reach the 100th post. The numbers on the stars range from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest. Yours is a 9 and I think that's quite great.. Happy posting!!!

Thanks for asking Maxxine, I was wondering the same thing. How is the rating being done though, is it when fellow mylotters rate your response/discussion, or is it the Mylot staff that rate us? I am new to Mylot, so there are so many questions.

The star appears next to your name when you reach 100 posts. I believe the star represents a ranking. The higher the ranking the higher amount of money you receive for each post.
