Do You Have Favorites Among Your MyLot Friends?

I do have one favorite that I visit daily. :) Without fail...everyday I go to her site. Even if she has not created any new discussions, I also like to follow her trail of discussions that she has responded to. ha ha Uh oh! I'm a stalker! LOL That's ok..I am sure she doesn't mind. ha ha

We wouldn't be normal if we didn't have favourites, would we? In real life we have our special friends; the ones we feel most comfortable with; the ones we confide in and the ones we share most with. When I just "happened" to land on myLot when I had a couple of weeks of spare time, I entered into discussions which interested me. I am a Christian whose relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is of utmost importance in my life, so I responded to discussions on that topic. I "locked horns" with an atheist and we had many debates in many discussions. I say "locked horns" but those debates were friendly, courteous and intelligent. They weren't abusive or offensive in any way. We respected each other and we became firm friends despite the difference in the most important thing in my life. I met other atheists, agnostics, pagans and wiccans here on myLot and found these people to be wonderful friends. Many of them share the same human values and ideals as I do and we would agree on just about everything except our faith - but we can respect one another in spite of that. Yes, I have "favourites". That first atheist I met is very dear to me, as is another one I met in the same discussions. Then I have another favourite who I think is the favourite of many people here on myLot. She gives us so much laughter and she cares so deeply about her family and friends. It is such a joy to know dear Gabs and to share in all her little accidents and her exploits with Gissi.

Yes, I do have a few favorite friends. They seem to be the best topic starters. I am no good at starting discussions. I am better at responding to someone elses. I do visit them daily, or at least during the week. I really enjoy reading their discussions, even if I don't have anything to reply to them.

Yes, I will admit I also have some favorites. There are some that always respond to my discussions and those that do have really great discussions that interest me. I have to say though that I feel really bad because lately those that have been responding to my discussions often, I haven't been responding to their's so I'm trying to catch up here again, lol. I feel like I should do my part and respond to their discussions since they have taken the time to do so to mine. I wish I had the time though daily to visit all my friends but I don't so I do have those that I visit daily more than others, just because I really enjoy their topics.

I have a few favourites who I find myself responding to more than I do some others. I think it's because they either have children like I do, or have many of the same interests. This means that their discussions are easy to answer as I really do have something to say about the posts.

I wouldn't say I have any favorites since I don't personally know anyone on my friends list. There are just some people that post more discussions that I can relate to so I respond to them more. And I've noticed there are some people on my friends list that respond to me more then others. But I wouldn't say I have any favorites. Just some of us seem to have more in common then others.

Well, it would be impossible for me to go check out all of my Favorites on my friends list each day, or all of my friends due to lack of time to be online, and the amount of friends I have found on here that post Great discussions. But personally I do have some when I see they have posted or started a New discussion I go check it out, and respond to it if I can. When you have been on here as long as I have, you gain a Lot of friends. But I do try and respond back especially to the friends I have on here I see responding to mine. Because I feel they deserve the same respect back as well.

Of course, I am guility of having favorites,probably because I have connected in a certain way and reached a common denominator.But that's not to say I won't do the same with others here,I really enjoy making friends here and getting to know people.People are fasinating and fun!

Since I only have one friend at this time, I would have to call him my very favorite...lol Maybe I should get more friends and then answer this question.

I don't have favorites on mylot friends. I go over to the topics they posted and responds to discussions i can easily relate well.

yes,i do have several friends like that.their topics always interest me,so in order not to miss any one of them,i notify them on,as long as they start a new topic,i will get it and be happy to reply on their topics.sometimes my friends do not start new discussions every day,at that time,i feel i have no topics to reply.i am a little lazy to find other topics out of my friend list.sometimes i reply topics started by friends of my friends. and also i have some friends that their topics are hard for me to reply,i take a lot of time to think over and over,and still dont know how to respond,sometimes i feel guilty not to reply their topics,but i really have nothing to say,what i do is to wait for several days until i have some thought on their topics.

i know this website from my friend ,so he is my favorite among mylot friends.
