myLot Scammers

It is sad that some people try to take advantage of everything and ruin it for others I report all spam also that I see cause I don't want this site to go under cause of these people I think everyone needs to keep on the lookout and help report these people to administration

These people either must be really sad or totally desperate. I could understand if there was big bucks to made on here but there isn't it's a total pittance, I hope mylot ban them for good as thats what they deserve, which in theory should be easy to do as they could link the Paypal emails. I guess we should all be a little more vigilant and report anything we see.

I reckon myLot would be aware of what is happening here and if people are cheating like you say they are .... they will be found out. That means they will lose all their earnings from myLot ... for all the identities that they have. I wouldn't think that people would be able to post enough discussions to warrant more than 1 ID, if they are using the same computer or internet provider that is. You might be right .... I just do not know enough about how these things work to say that you are right or wrong with this matter ..... but with a site as big as this, the administration would know. In addition they would have all sorts of things put in place ... to check for scammers and cheats. No site can afford to pay for that sort of thing ... and everyone says they have been paid by myLot so you can be sure they keep a close eye on things. Or the computer would have some sort of thing in place to do checks and balances. There will always be people who want more than their share of the money tree .... but they do get caught in the end luckily for all of us.

Mylot can take one easy step to greatly reduce this and that would be to record and dilter ip addresses. Recording them is simple when they sing up there ip is regsiterd. My lot should use a filter program that will block identical ip addresses from being able to hold account unless mylot has deemd it ok, like in a lost or stolen password or account. It should be handled case by case but they could eliminta the brunt of these scammer by simply filtering ip addresses. What kind of goofball woudl go through so much troubl for a dollar a day? What can a dollar get you, heck even the "dollar menu" at Mcdonald isnt really a dollar. Soem people would go through so much crap for a few cents and ruin good things for everyone else so they can get that extra 2$ in there lifspan. Down with the fruadulent scammers!

there will always be abusers of any system unfortunetly.it's just a question of whether they get caught or not. i've seen them on ebay too,pumping up their bids :( a dollar or so a day really isn't worth it.

That is fairly troubling. I'd like to say i can't believe that people would go to that much trouble to make a couple more cents per day but.. well... wouldn't the first time i think any of us have seen something quite so ridiculous. You're right though, it could very well be the downfall of myLot if we're not careful to keep on the lookout for that sort of activity. Hopefully those who monitor MyLot also check accounts versus ip adresses once in a while, so they can see that there aren't a ton of accounts coming from one ip, that might have other evidence that suggests it's a multi user and not just two or three people sharing a computer with their own accounts.

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't know how you find them out, but administrators should ban them and cancel their earnings. I enjoy getting on here and improving my general knowledge. I find it interesting communicating with people from all walks of life, and many different nationalities.

You are right; we really do not need people like that here. It's bad enough when new members do stupid things like this, but when a high profile member stoops so low just for an ego boost, it is downright pitiful. I hope that MyLot will ban both accounts, along with the IP. We do not need to see MyLot ruined by this type of scum. I would appreciate it if you could pm me and let me know who this is, to satisfy my curious nature.
