I'm trying to create a blog on blogger.com and I have not started any posting yet. I just wanted to change the default template that I picked on blogger to another template. I have a three column template that I tried to copy and paste in the HTML section but it doesn't work. I tried with different template but it always says there are errors. Have you changed your template on blogger to a three column one? Who did you proceed? I will appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you for your time.

I am having problem with the template customization too. Now I just live with it since I am not really sure how to change most of it. their HTML coding is somewhat different from the normal one that I am familiar with.

Yes shakeroo like krayzee said it's because now they use XML instead of HTML. You can edit the template and you will see XML in the first line. Good luck.

I think you're trying to paste a template for the old blogger. Back then the templates were HTML, but the new blogger uses XML templates (a whole other format, hence the errors you have). You chould choose another three column template, one especially made for the new blogger. Or you should go back to the classic template but you'll lose some advantages though such as the page elements.
