...would it be and who would you bring? If you won an all expense paid vacation to just one country in the world wherein you could spend one whole month, what country would you choose and why? Now, let's say this trip is good for two people (just two people, folks!). Who would you bring? Why? For me, I would probably go to China and travel all around the country. I am a Chinese Filipino and proud of my heritage. I would bring my husband because I believe that as my partner for life, he should also see and appreciate my heritage. What about you?

The United States is a great place to visit, and 1 month is not enough to visit everything there :).

I would love to take my wife to Australia for a month. I've been there before and spent almost that amount of time, but I barely made a dent in the list of places I wanted to go. I spent a week in Sydney, then drove up the east coast through Surfer's Paradise, Brisbane, Rockland and up to Cairnes. There I dove on the Great Barrier Reef, toured the Rainforest, and went white water rafting. I'd love to show my wife all of this, but I'd also like to see the things I missed. Like Ayer's Rock, the Blue Mountains, Tasmania, Melbourne, diving with whale sharks and manta rays on the west coast, etc. Can I have two months, please? :D

I think I'd choose to go to Sweden,as I found a fellow mylotian from there!;) Fjaril is good poster here, and I think Sweden is also a nice place to spend a vecation. The weather's different and I think the people are also great there, as I only know a few about their culture. I want to learn more from them and I hope that I could also leave some good memories to them, if ever given a chance to!;)

Good idea to look for a country that's very different from your own, so you'll get to see and experience new things!

I'm not sure as I haven't traveled that much. I think I would need to see some more countries before making a decision like this. One month is a long time. I know for sure it would be with my husband because he knows all about traveling, and of course he is the only one I have a great time with and trust with all my heart. I am living in Switzerland currently, and I am originally from America. Massachusetts to be exact. So I really need to see other places for a week or so just to be able to really make that decision. I think your idea is a good one. My heritage comes from Sicily. I want to go there and see where my ancestors grew up and my great grandparents. But I have no idea if I would want to stay there for a month you know what I mean? I think I would have to check it out for a weekend, or week first. Great topic for people that have traveled a lot. :-) Greets

i've only been to china and its beautiful. but i have yet to see other country. so if i won an all expense vacation, i would probably choose france. i'd love to take someone special, a boyfriend maybe. i think it would be romantic. the place, from what i've heard, is really beautiful and its only the two of us. it'll really be romantic.

I'd travel around Thailand with my mother. I heard so many beautiful stories about the country, it would be nice to see it for myself and my mother.

Two places come to my mind. Either Paris or Switzerland. But I prefer the latter since it is considered the safest place in the world. I also like to experience skiing in the snow. Its a far cry from our country. :)

I would go to Canada, and see snow! I would bring my husband of course, but will try to find enough sources to bring my three kids as no trip would be complete without my entire family.

I will go to Korea. I always love to see korea's scenery in internet. It looks very nice to see. And they always have some nice stuff to sell..LOL (shopping i means). Actually you have to broaden the choice into 4 countries..LOL. Because i always want to go to Korea, China, Japan and Thailand. These 4 countries look very fun to travel with.

Greece WOULD have been my first choice but I travel there quite frequently anyway, so I would have to choose France quite simply because I love the culture, food, people and beautiful Paris of course.

I hopefully thought sombody would suggest India. my country as the destination of their holday. But nobody seems attracted. India is a beautiful country. It has matropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, kokotha, Chennai and Bangalore. It has very rich wild life sncturies. nice hill stations in the Himalayas and the western ghats. Historic monuments like Tajmahal and Quitab Minar. It has the splendid beaches of Goa, Chennai and Kovalam, the back waters of Kerala and many more things. For me I don't think it is possible to stay somewhere for one full month. Any way my choice would be Singapore and Malaysia. My parents were there, and I was born there. At the age of 10 I was brought to India. Even now I feel nosthalgic about Singapore. So if I get the chance I will go to Malaysia and Singapore with my wife for a vacation.

I know India is beautiful. Sadly, it has not been as popular as the European countries. The department of tourism has to make India more popular somehow. I know India was featured on Amazing Race, however, it showed the poverty stricken areas, which is not exactly good for the tourism industry. Maybe they should feature the more tourist friendly spots.

I think I would go to England. I've met a lot of lovely people online from there. My mother has always wanted to go also so I'd bring her even if it would kill off most of my pub trips =)

if i were given a chance to go in only one country then i will go to India.. India is such different materialized country that you enjoy all the type of situation you want..it has 15-25 different language people. and most different type of environment from cold place of the world (himalayas ) to hot place ... it has sea cost to up mountain places.. so that country has so beautiful history that you enjoy even oldiest gold... and of course last and superb The Taj Mahal.......... at Agra.. the place is enough.

Oh, wow, this is a really hard question! I think that I would pick Italy. It would be nice to spend a week in Rome, a week in Venice, a week in Tuscany, and a week in Florence. I might also pick France, though, just because it is quite expensive there, so having all expenses paid would be great!
