cricket fever !!!

There is not much of a chance that a team can defeat aussies this time too.Most probabaly they will win this times wotld cup for the record third time.They are the real champions and I think the only team which have a good chance othe rthan them is Newzeland.They are also in superb form and has not yet lost a match in world cup till now.They have defeated aussies at home in good margin in the chappel hadlee tournament.It will definitely boost their confidence against aussies...

Well the world cup 2007 has already turned out to be the worst cricketing event.It has been a dull event in terms of playing quality and also in terms of cricketers.Also the murder of Bob Woolmer has left a very bad impresion on the prestigious event.As far as Australia's chances of winning the world cup are concerned I think they are the most favourable nation to win it.But we can never predict in either cricket or any other sport for that matter.I think another team which can also be the winner is New Zealand .They are also playing quite well in the tounament till date.

Australia is one team that is always consistent. They may have an off-colour day once in a while. While most of the teams have many bad days, Australia's bad days only rarely. So, it seems that Aussies have a firm grip on the trophy already. Any team that need to beat Australia have to play some exceptional cricket in the semis or in the finals. If Australia's bad day is due, then some other team has a chance. Or else, it will be Kangaroos again! What a run? Finalists in 1996, Winners in 1999 and 2003. Unbeatend so far in 2007.

why do you say that this world cup is not interesting and exciting. Ireland beat pakistan. is it not exciting? Bangladesh beat India, is it not exciting? West Indies defeated by south africa and out of world cup even he is host country, is not exciting. we could not predict that Australia would be defending chamption as previous there are two teams such as newzeland and south africa who can beat australian at any time. please do not under rate to srilankan team also. i hope you will be enjoying this w.c. too and never say this is dull game show. thanks.

i dont agree with you completly .ya australia are definitly the favouritesone.but this time its going to be srilankans turn.the boys of australian team are very much talented and they have very good cricketing brain and they are full of confidence .its going to be verry tough for australian to defeat them if they are going to meet them anywere either in semisn or in final.lankans with the likes of murali and jayasuria are really favourites this time and on westindies turning track they are going to be a verry tough chaleenge for australian

I completely agree with you.It is very dull and very much least happenning world cup.

I also feel that australia will win the world cup unless they are beaten by the only team which can beat them right now which is new zealand then they have a good chance. I personally feel that either new zealand or south africa should win the world cup becuase of them deserve a cup as they are playing relatively well now.

I dont want australia to win this time and have there hatric instead i want new zealand or srilanka to hold up the trophy bcoz australia should even give others a chance probably to new zealand coz they havnt got it even once in there life. one more reason that i want new zealand to win is that my fav.player daniel vettori is on that side. Now,i want srilanka to win this bcoz they are my neighbours,if india was unable ,let sri lanka prove to be the best. all the best to both the teams from me.

I agree with you . At present Australia is a very good team and they have 100% professional approach. But eventhough we can not say anything in the game of cricket. Cricket is a game of Uncertianity. Any thing happen at any time. So we have to wait till the final is over. I think it is Australia or Srilanka.

This world cup has been really worst in terms of everything.there have been really very less good matches.Most of the matches have been one sided.Also there is too much gap between the best i e Australia & other teams like west indies.Although Idia & Pakistan is out ,the excitement has reduced considerably.If any team can beat Australia it has to be Sri Lanka as it can bet any team on a given day or New Zealand as it has done that in recent past.
