I've planted the leafy greens and some root veggies, as well as flower bulbs, outside. Inside I have about 10 different kinds of veggies going.

I wish I could plant some seeds. We went from being in the 70's and 80's to being in the 20's. I am just glad that I hadn't planted them yet. I wish this weather would make up its mind.

I've planted quite a bit so far. I have corn, zuchinni, yellow quash, peppers, peas, green beans, and broccali in the vegetable garden. In the herb garden, I have planted mint, thyme, dill, lavender, sage, and rosemary. I am hoping to get out this afternoon and plant onions, carrots, lettuce, and some flowers. I love this time of year.

I'm in Texas so we got to plant our gardens quite a few weeks back. In the veggie garden we planted 3 different tomatoes with marigolds around them to help ward off the buggies, red and yellow bell peppers, okra, zuchini, jalapenos, a cabbage for my son's school project, radishes, and yellow onions. Around the base of our tree we sowed bluebonnets. In the flower garden I threw out a mixture of butterfly flowers, two different wild flower mixes, and more bluebonnets. In the herb section we put chamomile, chocolate mint, apple mint, spearmint, lavender, and parsley. Just the other day we thought for sure we'd lose it all because of a freak snow storm! We couldn't believe getting inches of snow in Texas in April! Just before we were enjoying very warm spring weather running around in shorts and even taking our first (cold) swim of the season!! It looks like everything came through it ok though.

I live in the pacific northwest so it is not warm enough to plant much outside. As soon as the rain lets up a bit (maybe by the end of the week) I will be direct sowing some greens, and peas. I have tomatoes, cauliflower, chives, basil, brussels sprouts, artichokes, cabbage, head lettuce, and edamame all started indoors though! I just LOVE watching the plants grow and I can't wait to start eating them! I will be starting the squash and cukes indoors in a couple of weeks also. Yumm! Happy gardening!
